MACOMB, IL – Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, has donated a school bus to the Industry Assembly of God, a local church in Industry, Illinois, which is located less than 20 minutes from Durham School Services’ Macomb bus facility. The church will utilize the donated bus to drive students with special needs to youth programs and provide transportation to their elderly community members who attend their church. The donation to Industry Assembly of God was made as part of Durham School Services’ company-wide Partners Beyond the Bus program.
LISLE, IL and PARKERTOWN, NJ – Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, has donated a school bus to the Parkertown Volunteer Fire Company. The donated bus will provide the fire company with an additional means to transport equipment during emergency situations. The donation is a testament to Durham School Services’ commitment to safety, and a part of its company-wide Partners Beyond the Bus program, which was established to strengthen customer and community partnerships through volunteering, as well as to raise awareness of those volunteer efforts.

LISLE, IL – The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) has awarded Jan Hilliard, Durham School Services General Manager, and Michelle Simon, National Express Vice President of Safety Compliance, the Golden Merit Award for their achievements in safety and service. The award was created in 1969 to recognize school bus employees for their achievements in safety, driver training, business practice, vehicle maintenance, and superior service to the school, community, and the student transportation industry.
