Durham School Services Bus Tracker App in Centralia, Illinois

National Express | 6 February, 2017 | NELLC

Centralia, IL – Durham School Services, a leading provider in student transportation, has launched the Durham Bus Tracker app—now available for the parents and guardians of Centralia City grade schools and Centralia JR High, School District # 135 in Centralia. The app allows them to view the location of their child’s bus in relation to their assigned bus stop.

The app’s proprietary design incorporates a number of security features that allows parents and guardians to securely view their child’s assigned route and estimated arrival time. To ensure the safety and privacy of each student, the Durham Bus Tracker requires parents and guardians to create a password-protected account along with authenticating their child’s school ID in order to access any personal route information.

“The app is another way we are now able to keep the parents and guardians informed on the status of the bus,” said Kenneth Easley, general manager for Durham School Services. “The safety of our students is always our top priority, and the Durham Bus Tracker compliments our continuous efforts of getting our students to school safely, on time and ready to learn.”

The Durham Bus Tracker, which is provided at no additional cost to the school district, parents or guardians, can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or it can be viewed on a web browser.
